There's lots of fun happening in Savannah the week of 11/29- 12/7

We're almost halfway to the weekend ... and Saturday marks the 1st weekend of DECEMBER! The holiday fun has already begun, with Santa appearances, festivals, Christmas Markets, and more. The kids can't get enough of this time of year and, to be honest, neither can we.

Here are five things we're looking forward to this week:

1. Cannon Firings at Old Fort Jackson 

Daily interpretive programming and cannon firings will commence at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. November 29th

2. Acting Up at Children's Museum of Pooler

Introduce children to the wondrous world of the performing arts! As players, children can assume the roles of others, learn to work cooperatively, and gain confidence…all while having fun! November 30th @ 1030am

3. Kick Off The Holidays With Free Admission To Local Museums With Bank Of America Museums On Us ® 

Simply present your Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain free general admission to any participating institution, including Georgia State Railroad Museum, Old Fort Jackson, Pin Point Heritage Museum, Savannah Children's Museum, Savannah History Museum, and the SCAD Museum. 4. A Small Town Christmas Festival

Join us for amusements, a petting zoo, Christmas lights, live entertainment, vendors, ICE SKATING, character appearances, and SO MUCH MORE! December 3rd: 11a- 10p

5. Move It & Shake It at Children's Museum of Pooler

Children will explore the world of music and movement with engaging, hands-on games and activities. December 4th: 1:30-2:30p
