Family Fun in Savannah this Week

Bull St. Exploration Space: Exploring STEM at Liveoaks Library

In person, STEM programming has returned and will be on the 4th Saturday of each month at 12m. Children 6 to 11 can participate in Exploring STEM at the Bull St Library located at 2002 Bull St. Savannah, GA 31401.  Registration is required by calling 912-652-3600 or https://liveoakpl.org/contact.


Savannah Children’s Museum

Summer hours begin at the Savannah Children’s Museum on May 30th. The museum will be open Monday through Saturday from 9:30am to 2:30pm.  The museum is outdoors so check the weather before arriving.  You can call ahead to 912-651-4292 or check the Facebook page here to verify it is open.  Admission is $10 and you can purchase tickets online or at the door. The museum is located at 655 Louisville RoadSavannah, GA 31401.

Teen Workshop at SCAD MOA

Savannah College of Art and Design Museum of Art is offering a drawing workshop for teens on Wednesday May 25th from 4pm to 5pm. Teens can work on finesse and form to improve their drawing skills. Registration is required by contacting kpoitras@scad.edu or 912.525.7145.  SCAD Museum of Art Terrace is located at 601 Turner Blvd. Savannah, 31401.


Free Family Weekends at the Jepson and Telfair Museum

On Saturdays and Sundays from now until August 28th, the Jepson Center for the Arts and the Telfair Academy are offering free admissions for local residents. This offering is in celebration of the The Art  of Williams O Golding: Hard Knocks Hardships, and Lots of Experience exhibit which premiered April 1st.   The museum is open from 10am to 5pm daily and more information is available at telfair.org.  



The Diggery Dino
Show

The Tybee Post Theatre is hosting the Diggery Dino Show on May 28th at 3:00pm.  This interactive show follows the adventures of paleontologist Diggery Diggers and his adventure to save the human race.  This show is perfect for dinosaur lovers of all ages and includes animated characters, dinosaur bones, puppets, music and more.  The theatre is located at 10 Van Horne Ave Tybee Island, GA 31328.
