Cycle Social on the Truman Linear Park Trail
Bikewalksavannah.org is hosting a cycle social each month. This Wednesday, May 18th there will be a family friendly bike ride on the Truman Linear Park Trail. The group will start at Lake Mayer in front of the Community Center at 6pm. Lights and helmets are required. The ride is 7.5 miles in length and is open to the public. Donations are encouraged. Music and Movement at the Library
Music and Movement – Music and Movement is being offered through the week by Liveoaks Library. There are three different events: Southwest Chatham Library Wednesday, May 18th at 10:30am, Islands Library Thursday, May 19th at 10:30am and Oglethorpe Mall Library Saturday May 21st at 11:00am. Art Start: Stroller and Toddler Tours
Gaining art enthusiasts early! Each month the Jepson Center offers Art Start for children ages 0 to 5. Attend the Jepson Center on Thursday, May 19th from 10:30am to 11:30am for story time, a special tour and art activity. Members are free, adult non-members $12 and children $5. Support your local farmers and vendors at the Islands Farmers Market on Saturday, May 21st from 9am to 12pm at 401 Quarterman Dr. Savannah, GA 31410. Vendors change week to week and you can view the Facebook page for any updates. Dogs are welcome too!
The Upcoming show for Savannah Children’s Theater starts this weekend. Support our local actors as they present Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Tickets are $25 per adult and $20 for children ages 1 to 18. The theater is located at 2160 East Victory Drive, Savannah, GA 31404 and the phone number is 912-659-5213. Shows are Friday May 20th at 8:00pm, Saturday May 21st at 3:00pm and 8:00pm and Sunday at 3:00pm.
