Oatland Island is having their second annual Family Fest. Pack the car full of passengers and enjoy the outdoors with music, food trucks and a family picnic. The event is from 5pm to 7pm Sunday, April 10th and the cost is $25 per car (no more than 7 people per vehicle.)
Savannah Ogeechee Canal Spring Festival
Ogeechee Canal is celebrating Spring from 9am to 5pm Saturday April 9th. They will have a medicinal herb walk, vendors, music, plant exchanges and more. Enjoy a day outdoors walking and learning about the canal. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for seniors, children, and military.
Free Walking Tours of Bonaventure Cemetery
The Bonaventure Historical Society offers free walking tours of the cemetery the second weekend of each month. Tours start at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 9th and Sunday, April 10th. Any last-minute updates are posted to their Facebook page.
Loyalist and Liberty Battlefield Tours
Head to the Savannah Historical Museum for Loyalist and Liberty Battlefield Tours from Thursday to Saturday at 10:30am, 12:30pm or 2:30pm. Experience life of the American Revolution in Savannah with live musket firing, black powder demonstrations and character reenactments from 1779.
Petting Zoo and Yard Sale
The Sycamore Church is having a Yard Sale and Petting Zoo on Saturday April, 9th from 10am to 2pm. Pony rides will be available! The church is located at 2031 Grove Pt. Road, Savannah, GA 31419. View their Facebook page for updates.
