1. Geocaching – Geocaching is a fun adventure and all you need is a GPS device. Simply go to geocaching.com and download the app to your device. You will find 533 geocaches in the Savannah area. That is a lot of outdoor adventure and exploring!
2. Use the Georgia Library System to download ebooks and audiobooks. Live Oaks Library system connects with Axis 360 for ebooks and audiobooks. The great thing about ebooks is you can immediately borrow a new book after you finished.
3. Take your Georgia Library Card one step further and download a movie on Hoopla. Once you have your free card, log in to Hoopla and watch a movie on your device or smart TV. All you have to do is download the app, enter your library card number and password and you can choose from a huge selection of Movies, Television Shows and even Comics.
4. Visit the Savannah Botanical Gardens. Enjoy free access to all the public areas of the garden. The Gardens are open all year around during daylight hours 7 days a week. The garden is located at 1388 Eisenhower Dr. Savannah, GA 31406.
5. Go Fishing! We have so many waterways in the Savannah area. Get your pole out and drop a line. If you can’t think of anywhere try Lake Mayer Park, Frank Williamson Lake, Tom Triplett Lake or Rodney J. Hall Boat Ramp.
